Mexico!

i like to visit Mexico because the country is famous  for many types of culture, and the of this place cuisine is known for different types of food. i know the different famous archaeological places of the Mayan culture and this country has a beautiful beaches in the side of the Atlantic ocean. I would like to try many typical meals as "tacos" and "mole" souce. Also i would like visit the country's nature reserves. Besides, I would like celebrate Halloween because, in this country, this day is very important and the festivities are very cheerful . I consider that the relation of death and cheerful is very interesting (and this day there are a lot of traditional food!) .

Then, I would like study in Mexico because it has a important tradition in the study of the culture and the anthropology investigation in this place is very complete and comprehensive. I would like to study in the  National Autonomous University of Mexico because, in my opinion, is the best university to study anthropology.

Pierre Clastres

I really admire to Pierre Clatres. He is a important person in the field of antrophology and philosophy, but specifically He is best known for his contributions to the field of political anthropology. He is famous for writing about the power in the human history. He was born in France in 1934 and studied philosophy and then studied anthropology. Where he was being assistant Claude Levi Strauss

His most famous book is "Society against the State" where he tries to describe the other kind to understand the idea of “power” in societies without States. One of the most important things he has done is to change the central place the idea of "State" in studies of human political history against the idea of political evolution that prevailed in academic research. I've also contributed to study the small communities of the Amazon, where the political area was more important than economic and the people were different logical for political activity that given today. I like Clastres because he considered other ways of doing and understanding politics and war in other  communities.

Food !!

Hello, everybody! Today i will talk about the food. I never eat a fixed time since I joined at the university, but I never skip the breakfast because in my opinion is the most important meal and if I do not eat breakfast I have hungry all day. About of the things that I eat, there are things that I don’t eat when I was a child as the sweet food, in this period I don’t like the cakes and sweets, and the only sweet that I like was the chocolate, but now I like all the sweet and my favourite remains the chocolate. I cook every day for lunch, but it is very basic; I most often cook noodles with sauce and meat with purée of potatoes.  The truth is that I do not select the food for your calories and nutrients, but only for its taste. I do not usually eat junk food very often but I really like, it is a guilty pleasure! I like to eat at home more than a restaurant but on special occasions is  good eating out. As a last meal I would eat “Chorrillana” and as dessert  “chocolate croissant” with ice cream. I will die for eating too much!

post 4 - the new semester!

This is the ninth semester of my career, therefore, there is little time left to graduate. This semester started my thesis, I hope to finish it before the end of this year, but will not press me too much for it. I also do my practice in this semester, I do in the Municipalidad de Santiago, I must finish around the end of July, I'm learning a lot in it and I think at the end of the semester I know much more than when I started it. At the end of practice and when my semester is completed at university, I want to travel to south of Chile, specifically Cucao in Chiloe, to visit a friend who makes her practice in a forest of CONAF :) . I hope to finish this semester with great success!!

abortion

I think that abortion should be legal for all women in all circumstances because the woman has the right of choice of her body and she is not a machine. I believe that parental consent should not be required for abortion for women under 21, because this age the person is completely independent of them parents and in the topic of abortion specifically I think that the decision of a minor age girl –under 18- must not limited by her parents and parent’s beliefs. In this case the state must support the girl and her decision and look out for her well-being  bodily and psychological.  And finally I believe that religious precepts be taken into consideration to make laws on abortion and this situation must not be.

My fovourite piece of tecnology

My favorite piece of technology is the notebook, this is a portable computer. It is very useful and I use it almost every day. The notebook I use for recreational, educational and work purposes. It is important to say that this piece combined with internet allows you to find new information, chat with friends, 

 I like very much this object because the old old computers were not moving, whereas the notebook is very functional and can be moved to different places and always will be the information you saved, as my documents, music or movies. This way I can easily move the notebook to college, work, homes of friends or family, and best of all, I can take to my bed in the cold winter days, that is very good!
